About Lisa

My Story

I was born in Texas and have lived here all my life. I have two daughters and 4 dogs. I created “Treats for Dogs” because I love dogs and I had a schnauzer that struggled with allergies all her life. My cocker spaniel has ear and skin allergy issues, my yorkie and poodle mix LOVE to eat so I needed low fat treats for them. Fendi, is a senior and likes the softer treats that are easy to chew. I wanted to find treats for all their different needs they could enjoy.

Why I Wanted To Create This Site

Because our dogs are family and they deserve to be treated like family, I believe they deserve a treat that has the same high standards we have for the rest of our loved ones. That is why I created this site, I want to help pet lovers choose the right treat for their dog. There are so many “treats” to choose from, on the internet and local pet stores. I want to be able to give information about treats from pups to seniors and treats for special needs pets. There are many healthy treats that overweight pets can eat while losing weight. I want my site to give pet owners the information they need to choose the right treat for their pet.

I Am a Pet Parent Too

Our dogs share our lives every day with unconditional love. They greet you in the morning and the last hug and cuddle up at the end of the day. Surely, there is no such person as a dog owner who never gives his or her dog a treat. We all like to see our dog’s tail wag, and his face light up with anticipation, right?

I want to make the process of finding treats and all that good stuff easy to find and delivered straight to your doorstep.
